Abstract

Multiparameter Jones-matrix modelling of optical anisotropic properties of blood plasma films (“norma” and “pathology” of mammary gland) were examined in this paper. Jones-matrix mapping of human blood plasma films was performed on the exist-ing universal multiparameter two-dimensional laser polarimetry system. Statistical moments of the obtained images of the imaginary component of the Jones matrix elements were calculated. A comparison and analysis of the results obtained with analogous ones for the real component of the Jones matrix is made. Also, the most suitable parameters were established for further classification and differentiation of the test samples into "norm" or "pathology" for identification of the corresponding state of the breast.
