Abstract

In current work a research was held and a new simplified circuit model of neural element was proposed as well as verification for correspondence of the proposed neuron model scheme with the mathematical model of LIF-neuron. A simulation environment NI Multisim was used for the creation of neural element scheme model and the environment CSIM was used for the mathematical model displaying. The performed research of computer model for the proposed scheme of neural element created using zener diode shows that its transmitting characteristic is adequate to according characteristic of the LIF-neuron with great accuracy. The proposed neural element scheme can be used to construct hardware implementations of spiking neural networks with a large number of elements
