Abstract

A problem of solving the ambiguity of terms which appears in fact at any form of working with text data sets: in information search, during analytical processing of text corps, automatic translation, in engineering ontologies and vocabularies, etc. is considered. A context-oriented approach to automated solving of terms ambiguity problem using a linguistic ontology is proposed. Advantages and disadvantages of the approach and main areas and ways of using are considered.
