Abstract

Inthisarticlewepresent a methodforoperationaldetectionof a singlebit’sweightdeviationforsuccessiveapproximation ADC thatisimplementedusingweightredundancy. Themethodisbasedonanalysisof a codingschemeinthemaincodingprocess. Themethodreliesonthefactthat a setofcodecombinationsof ADC willbelimitedwhenapplyingweightredundancy. A relationbetweenthelistofpossiblecodecombinationsintheoutputof ADC andthebitdeviationwasanalysed. Theaccuracyandrestrictionsofthemethodwereevaluated.
